Overnight Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Night Shift Supervisor at our New Ross Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the night shift, ensuring seamless delivery of parcels to our clients nationwide and internationally.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They must also be able to work effectively as part of a team, motivating and assessing the performance of team members.
As a key member of our depot team, the Night Shift Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of customers' goods/freight. This includes organizing freight for dispatch, ensuring all freight is sorted and organized correctly, and maintaining warehouse and working areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Commercially acceptable level of English (spoken and written)
- Proficient on computers (Excel, Email, Reporting platforms, CRM systems)
- Previous supervisory experience (3 years +)
- Safety Awareness
- Knowledge of Irish geography and specifically depot coverage areas
- Previous logistics industry experience
- Problem Solving and People Management experience
This is a full-time position working 8 hour night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, with benefits including:
