Senior Credit Analyst

This role focuses on providing high-quality credit risk analysis and assessment of credit proposals from designated business lines. The selected candidate will make informed recommendations to the Credit Committee as required and take ownership of decisions within their delegated authority.

  • Lead or participate in risk analysis and recommendations related to credit proposals originating from various business lines, including commercial real estate, corporate banking, financial institutions, and capital finance.
  • Collaborate with peers and colleagues to resolve complex credit issues and achieve goals consistent with the firm's credit culture.
  • Assess credit proposals and execute or support informed decisions on credit requests within the parameters of the credit decisioning framework.
  • Ensure that credit proposals conform to the company's credit strategy and stated risk appetite, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Interface with internal and external auditors, risk management teams, and regulators to maintain the integrity of credit grades and risk grading processes.

Required qualifications include:

  • Experience in credit portfolio consulting or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Degree-educated (or equivalent).
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide presentations and briefings to management and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
  • Professional maturity and a high energy level.
  • Ability to operate comfortably in a large, multicultural organization.
  • Proficiency with advanced office software and tools.
