Deputy Social Care Manager
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to young people living in a residential service.
You will manage a team of staff who deliver that care, and work closely with them to achieve the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience and knowledge in the field of social care, including a strong understanding of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
- A Bachelor or MA/MSc in Social Care, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Social Work, Social Care Management or related field.
- A full, clean manual driver's license valid in Ireland.
- Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care to young people living in a residential service.
- Manage a team of staff who deliver that care.
- Work closely with staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care provided.
- A strong understanding of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
- Significant experience in the field of social care.
- Ability to manage a team of staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
