Leisure Centre Manager Job Description

To thrive in this role, you'll oversee the entire leisure operation, including fitness centres, spas, and other recreational facilities. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth through sales and marketing initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all areas of the leisure centre meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Managing a team of staff members, providing guidance and coaching to help them excel in their roles
  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth

In addition to your operational duties, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on leisure centre performance
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to achieve business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with:

  • 2-3 years of managerial experience in a successful fitness or leisure environment
  • A nationally recognized fitness instructor qualification (NCEF, ITEC, NCEHS)
  • An occupational first aid qualification with AED certification
  • A fully qualified and certified lifeguard status
