Job Responsibilities

">
  1. ">
  2. Undertake spot checks with healthcare assistants within the community

    ">
  3. Undertake client reviews in relation to the care they are continuing to receive

    ">
  4. Communicate and participate effectively with the Quality and Compliance team regarding HIQA and Incident Management

    ">
  5. Build and maintain relationships with the HSE

    ">
  6. Carry out staff introductions in line with company policies and procedures

    ">
  7. Be responsible for staff shadowing – ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures

    ">
  8. Undertake emergency response – Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)

    ">
  9. Evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns

    ">
  10. Support and assist with care team development

    ">
  11. Checking and collecting journal notes from clients' houses

    ">
  12. Delivery of Careplans, log sheets, and gloves to clients' homes when required

    ">
  13. Deliver of PPE

    ">
  14. Update online system documentation i.e., reviews and spot checks

    ">
  15. Develop a plan working week by booking in reviews (including confirming with NOK and clients)

    ">
  16. Develop a system of completing spot checks with Healthcare staff

    ">
  17. Be responsible for filing paperwork

    ">
  18. Provide support coordinators with uncovered/tasks in emergency if needed

    ">
  19. Attend weekly check-ins with teams as required

    ">
  20. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

    ">

Essential Skills & Experience

">

To excel in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A relevant health or social care background

    ">
  • 1 year's supervisory experience in Healthcare

    ">
  • Full QQI Level 5 Major award in Healthcare Support

    ">
  • Level 6 in Supervisory Management

    ">
  • Must be available to work alternative weekends

    ">
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

    ">
  • Full Clean Driving Licence and Access to Car

    ">
">

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and an empathic approach to people
