About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Instructor to join our team at the National Training Centre in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, training, and support to working-age adults with visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the impact of vision loss on daily living and employment prospects.
  • Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans tailored to the unique needs of each learner.
  • Provide practical skills training to promote independent living, mobility, and workplace readiness.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic support approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching, rehabilitation, or disability services, with a focus on adult learners.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a caseload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to person-centred training.
