Job DescriptionRole Summary

The Supervisor will be responsible for delivering project work in Network Projects, ranging from 38kV to 400kV, including HV substation work and underground cable works, overhead line work, and other assigned tasks.

This role plays a crucial part in working with teams to achieve ESB's Net Zero Strategy and the government Climate Action Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating the delivery of multiple projects, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling them
  • Interfacing with local network controllers, delivery teams, materials/stores, and other suppliers/stakeholders
  • Managing landowners and other local stakeholders to ensure project delivery
  • Scheduling project work and tracking and reporting on progress and performance
  • Managing productivity and performance of resources tasked with delivering projects
  • Assisting with and reporting on project costs
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for staff, contractors, and the public and assessing and reporting on quality of tasks and work during construction
  • Managing contractors (subcontractors including interfaces with internal teams)
