Store Operations Manager

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Operations Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The Role:

Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop store employees to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage and make adjustments as needed.
  • Set goals and plan store activities to maintain competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor team performance and implement effective performance management techniques.
  • Communicate store objectives and performance with senior management and the retail sales team.

Finance

  • Manage store finances effectively, including generating and analyzing financial reports.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial reports and report them to senior management.
  • Control overhead costs and maximize store sales and profitability.

Operations

  • Ensure smooth and efficient store operations, maintaining high standards in housekeeping, merchandising, presentation, and customer service.
  • Implement marketing plans and store policies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure effective store merchandising aligned with company image and branding.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and implement improvements based on feedback.

Stock Management

  • Implement effective stock control procedures to minimize loss and waste.
  • Manage stock takes to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper food management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in store operations management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
