Senior Automation Leader

Job Description:
">The key responsibility of this role is to oversee the Automation Team, ensuring efficient and compliant provision of automation services to the site. This includes providing daily support for operating areas across the site, collaborating with capital projects teams, developing the sites automation strategy, and interfacing with corporate automation functions.
">Responsibilities:
">- Ensure the provision of automation resources for day-to-day operations">
- Manage relationships between the team and internal/external stakeholders">
- Develop and implement process automation strategies and plans at the site">
- Oversee the technical and personal development of the process automation team">
- Accountable for implementing and maintaining systems in a compliant state">
- Participate in corporate automation groups and global process control leadership">
Personnel Management:
">- Plan, agree, monitor, and measure team goals/business plans
- Ensure ongoing continuous improvement and future planning
- Establish and maintain safety, GMP, and environmental standards
- Identify and implement changes to work practices in conjunction with team members
- Communicate company values, standards, and policies within the team
- Conduct annual performance reviews with team members
Site Management:
">- Manage site events with other site management members
- Contribute to site planning processes (HR/Business/Scorecard/Capital/Action Planning)
- Support site management decisions and strategy
Key Skills and Qualifications:
">• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline with suitable experience.
