Job Description:

OASIS Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a psychology service to an OASIS Group service and/or a special school (to be specified). This will include assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical and performance supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities attending our service.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with physical disability and their families in the public sector. They will also possess evidence of relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and two years' experience working in a children's disability service. Additionally, they should have experience of interdisciplinary team working and supervising students/therapy assistants.

In this role, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality services to children and families. You will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing children's needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating progress. Your expertise and guidance will help ensure that children receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose children's needs using standardized tools and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide training and guidance to students and therapy assistants.
  • Evaluate progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in physiotherapy and registration with the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • A minimum of three years' full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with children with physical disability and their families.
