The Model Validation Team is a growing group responsible for challenging credit models to ensure they are appropriate. As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you will work within this team using statistical techniques and data analytics tools to review and challenge the models in scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data analytics tools to review and challenge the models.
  • Challenge modelling teams and business areas to ensure robust and compliant models.
  • Collaborate with business units to deliver a best-in-class analytics service.
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn and grow within the role.
  • Become familiar with European Banking Regulatory Guidelines and apply them in model validation.

To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant third-level qualification or postgraduate qualification in an analytical discipline. You should also have a natural inclination to challenge established ways of thinking and the ability to articulate your opinion. Knowledge of coding for statistical analysis is an advantage.
