Job Title: Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Professional

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications and Public Affairs professional to join our team. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring communications and public affairs campaigns on behalf of major clients.

  • Develop and implement integrated communications and public affairs plans to achieve client objectives.
  • Manage daily client interactions and reporting to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Contribute to the development of new business leads and pitches for new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of communications and public affairs campaigns.
  • Work as part of an international team servicing clients on Irish, European, and Global campaigns.
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and reporting.
  • Help drive new business development, acquisition of new clients, and pitching for new accounts.
  • Drive media and public affairs campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3-5 years' experience implementing PR and Public Affairs campaigns, preferably within an agency or political setting.
  • Strong knowledge of policy and political processes and demonstrable engagement experience.
  • Expertise in particular sectors such as technology, food/drink, or health is an advantage.
  • Proven client-handling skills with experience managing large accounts and complex campaigns.
  • Extensive media relationships and demonstrable experience in securing tier one media coverage.
  • An interest and understanding of the news and business agenda, with the ability to identify compelling media narratives for our clients.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with more senior and junior colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of how social media can be used to drive clients' objectives, including experience in executing digital campaigns.
  • A strong network of contacts in relevant political, media, and regulatory spheres.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including fluent English and proficiency in Microsoft programmes.
