The Oasis Group is seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to lead our rehabilitation efforts in the West and North West region of Ireland. Our team provides community healthcare and acute services to the counties of Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, West Cavan, and Donegal.
As a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering community-based rehabilitation to adults who require mental health support. This role involves working with a diverse group of individuals, leading a team, and providing expert guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes.
To succeed in this position, you must have:
- Registration as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland
- One year documented postgraduate evidence of training and/or experience assuring competence in the area of rehabilitation psychiatry
- Access to own transport
- Participation in the on-call rota
- Knowledge of mental health services in Ireland
