Job Description:
Social Services Director

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our social services team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, a deep understanding of child welfare principles, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.

The Social Services Director will oversee the supervision of social care team members, residential care team members, and relief staff. They will work closely with the management team to ensure services are delivered within available resources and in line with organizational policies and procedures.

The role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of young people, team members, and visitors. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, report concerns promptly, and address health and safety risks as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum two years' full-time experience working with children or young people
- Full driving license desirable
- QQI Level 8 in Social Care or equivalent
- QQI Level 7 in Psychology or equivalent
- Strong leadership and communication skills
