We are currently seeking a skilled Site Contract Management Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing contracts, budgets, and related documents for participation in industry-sponsored clinical trials.
Your primary focus will be on negotiating and preparing contracts, producing site-specific contracts from country clinical trial agreement (CTA) templates, and reviewing and owning site-specific contracts from country templates. You will also submit proposed CTA and investigator budget for site review, negotiate budget and contract with sites and sponsors until resolution of issues, and perform quality control.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will arrange execution of CTAs, capture metadata, review contracts for completeness and accuracy, ensure corrections are made and documented, and administer all contract management processes, including coordination with relevant protocol, informed consent, institution, investigator, vendor, consultant, and customer agreement documents at a project level.
Apart from these responsibilities, you will generate amended contract and/or budget documents as necessary, prepare contract management documentation for projects, and streamline the contract/proposal or internal processes. You will also identify possible contract or process operational risk and proactively work within the team to provide solutions.
This role requires strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and a high level of problem-solving and negotiation skills. You must be able to mentor and motivate more junior staff, demonstrate an ability to provide quality feedback and guidance to peers, and contribute to a training and Quality assurance plan within SSU and update SOPs/WI.
The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Moderate contracts management experience that includes experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry is preferred, along with management experience, strong knowledge of the clinical development process and legal and contracting parameters, and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
