As a Supervising Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of daily reconciliations for all Syndicated and Private Debt Loans. This includes providing support to various departments while adhering to established policies and procedures.

This role involves supervision of operational and staffing aspects of the Operations Team, utilizing reconciliation systems to reconcile activity daily, and investigating cash reconciliation breaks with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise operational and staffing aspects of the Operations Team
  • Reconcile bank debt transactions against broker cash statements
  • Investigate cash reconciliation breaks
  • Review and process Bank Debt related activities
  • Complete Security Price Tolerance Checking for Alternative Funds
  • Maintain security master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system
  • Communicate and coordinate information between departments
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reporting
  • Gather understanding of current solutions and recommend future enhancements

Requirements:

  • Third-level qualifications in Business, Finance, or IT-related fields
  • 3-4 years' experience in Fund operations with Alternatives/Hedge Funds
  • Working knowledge of Syndicated/Private Debt Loan Market
  • Geneva or similar Fund Accounting systems
  • Banking debt processing functionality using Geneva
  • Knowledge of reconciling transactions when comparing bank debt activity and broker statements
  • Variety of security types
