The Cregg Group is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the external tender process for capital works projects. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in project management, construction, and sustainability to drive success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from concept stage to Planning approval, providing technical support, and advising on cost-efficient solutions. Strong working knowledge of public procurement projects and experience in sustainability projects are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the external tender process for capital works projects
• Provide technical support relating to Capital Investment construction projects
• Oversee feasibility studies and advise on evaluating and preparing property business plans
• Liaise with utility suppliers and Government Agencies to cultivate strong working relationships
• Prepare recommendations and reports on Capital investment proposals to the Executive Management Team
Requirements:
A third-level degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Project Management or Architecture and a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of current construction industry and technical developments, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, are essential.
