Mechanical Data Center Engineer

A leading global infrastructure provider seeks an accomplished Mechanical Engineer to join its Data Center Engineering Team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance data centers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review data center designs, incorporating AWS products and ensuring compliance with AWS standards.
- Provide technical expertise as a resident engineer during new data center construction projects, supporting commissioning and handover.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and create corrective action documentation.
- Support operational issues through ad-hoc training, complex procedure reviews, and event support.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve data center efficiency, availability, and capacity.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, along with 6+ years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in web-based tools for calculation and data processing.
- Experience with mechanical equipment design and operation, including VFDs, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, CRAHs, and air economizers.
