Automation Systems Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Automation Systems Engineer to fill this challenging opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation systems, excellent technical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support and maintenance of automation systems and equipment for clients across various industries.
  • Conduct remote diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
  • Travel to client sites to perform installations, repairs, and upgrades on automation systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, including reports, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the automation industry, including technical support and service.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an automation role in an industrial setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Inductive Automation Ignition, Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Emerson DeltaV, Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs, AVEVA System Platform, Siemens S7, PCS7, or WinCC.

The successful candidate will have a customer-focused mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be willing to travel to client sites as needed and possess professional level English (C1, C2, or Native).
