Designated Data Owner for Smart Metering Programme

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Custodian to join our Smart Metering Operations Centre (SMOC) team. This is a critical role that plays a key part in ensuring the quality and availability of smart metering services through monitoring, managing and maintaining smart meters, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems and ancillary services.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of all data owned and processed by SMOC and ensuring that all data is handled in accordance with relevant legislation and ESB policies and procedures.
">- Ensure rights of access to all relevant data is regularly reviewed
- Ensure all data processed by SMOC is catalogued and classified as per relevant policies
- Engage with the ESB Networks Data Steward and ESB Data Protection Office to ensure all processes involving Personal Data are identified, documented and maintain compliance with GDPR requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post graduate experience working in a related role, with experience working with data protection laws and regulations such as GDPR, experience working in Data Management and Data Governance, strong communications and report writing skills and the ability to understand and solve problems in a collaborative manner.
