Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a Cogito Administrator for an Epic system, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Cogito reporting databases to align with our environment strategy.

This role involves engaging in capacity planning to ensure sufficient system resources, monitoring database size and health, and creating and managing plans for statistics and index maintenance.

  • Configuring and maintaining the Cogito databases according to our environment strategy
  • Engaging in capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate system resources
  • Understanding performance metrics, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues

Requirements
  • Degree Qualified in a relevant field (Data Science or STEM subject) or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of the database operating systems
  • Technically experienced in MS SQL Server analytical database platforms
