Job Description:

The role of a Sales Engineer is to cover a broad remit with both hands-on engineering and client-focused commercial duties. Key responsibilities include reviewing customer project specifications and technical requirements, managing production timelines in collaboration with operations and engineering teams, calculating design specifications, preparing client-focused pricing and tender quotations, problem-solving, assisting on audits, and acting as a key point of contact for client queries.

This position requires a degree-qualified engineer who is now looking for an exciting new opportunity in the Limerick region. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or young professional seeking to further develop their engineering and commercial project management skills in a dynamic and growing manufacturing multinational environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3rd-level degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline (ideally mechanical, chemical, process, or similar).
  • 1-2+ years' relevant post-qualification experience in an engineering or technical sales/account management role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver on sales projects.
