Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Business Development Manager to join our team at Seedway, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market share in the Batavia area.

Seedway, LLC is a leading provider of high-quality farm seed products and lawn and turf products throughout Pennsylvania, New York, New England states, Florida, and South Carolina. We offer a wide range of vegetable seed for growers in the United States and Eastern Canada.

Your Role

As an Agricultural Business Development Manager, you will work closely with our Sales Manager to develop and implement marketing plans that drive profitable sales growth in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for maintaining individual accounts and relationships, developing new distribution channels, and ensuring that all sales activities are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans to drive profitable sales growth in your assigned territory.
• Maintain individual accounts and relationships, and develop new distribution channels.
• Ensure that all sales activities are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
• Work closely with our Sales Manager to identify opportunities for growth and development.
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the agricultural industry and excellent business development skills. You should also have experience in sales and marketing, and be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
