Job Description

  • We are seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to oversee the analytical running of dedicated contracts across Ireland, working closely with our commercial, finance and operations teams to drive business growth and profitability.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely management information to inform commercial decision-making and improve overall performance.
  • Maintaining margin protection and tracking account growth through regular commercial performance meetings is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Additionally, they will ensure reporting and monitoring of performance against budget, as well as developing and maintaining detailed cost analysis reports as required by customers and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Our ideal candidate will monitor and improve customer KPIs/profitability, prepare financial pricing models for month-end and year-end reporting and business tool reporting, and conduct monthly commercial performance meetings.
  • They will also review and prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, as well as implement best practice commercial finance practices across specific accounts, category management and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting is essential for this role.
  • Strong Excel modelling experience and previous experience in commercial analytics are also required.
  • Good influencing skills and a working knowledge of Navision are highly advantageous.
