Global Professional Consultants is a leading main building contractor with a strong presence in North Dublin. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Design Coordinator to join our team.

As a Design Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and tracking the submittal and approval process of designs and materials, ensuring client sign-off and approval.

\

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of circa €65k-€75k, as well as a strong benefits package that includes a company vehicle or car allowance.

Job Description

\

As a Design Coordinator at Global Professional Consultants, your key responsibilities will include:

\
  • \
  • Coordinating and tracking the submittal and approval process of designs and materials\
  • Ensuring client sign-off and approval\
  • Looking at risk/design problems by finding solutions with our Design Team before they materialize\
  • Developing look ahead plans\
  • Planning and co-ordinating with project management teams\
  • Attending site meetings and reporting on progress\
  • Managing datacentre/industrial experience where required\
  • Maintaining excellent attention to detail\
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients\
  • Performing other duties as required\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\
  • \
  • An engineering/architectural degree or similar qualification\
  • Experience as a design manager with a main contractor/developer (although we will consider candidates coming from an architectural practice or design office with applicable experience)\
  • Datacentre/industrial experience where required\
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills\
  • A strong understanding of design principles and practices\
  • A high level of organisational and time management skills\
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment\
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines\
