Head of Finance

An experienced Head of Finance is required to lead the finance function across multiple service centres nationwide.

This senior leadership role involves ensuring financial compliance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency across residential and day services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 15 finance professionals.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and performance metrics.
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and insurance processes.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders.
  • Support organisational change initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Desirable: Experience in the not-for-profit or public sector.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
