The Role: Principal Civil Engineer
Job Overview:This position presents an exceptional opportunity to excel as a lead engineer in wastewater infrastructure design and delivery. As part of our talented team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that prioritize efficiency and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Design Expertise: Create concept and detailed designs of Wastewater infrastructure.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Manage NEC contracts, perform financial project management, and handle change control.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expertise and innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges and deliver low carbon design solutions.
- Collaboration and Team Management: Work with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive design solutions.
- Mentorship and Development: Manage, mentor, and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
We seek candidates with:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Chartered Engineer certification or progress towards chartership.
- Significant experience in engineering project management and technical leadership.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to sustainability and innovation in engineering practices.
