Job Overview

This role focuses on serving a specific market segment within the sales organization.

You will facilitate Microsoft to better serve clients and help them realize their potential and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Execution
    • Engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry and collaborate with account teams to drive opportunities and build pipeline.
    • Identify customer business and technology readiness, map stakeholders, accelerate deal closure, contribute to strategies to close prioritized opportunities, coach junior members in deal plan execution, and implement close plans.
  • Scaling and Collaboration
    • Apply role orchestration to bring impact to the customer.
    • Collaborate with partners, identify new partnerships, develop joint proposals, and contribute to partner strategies.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Leverage competitor knowledge as a subject matter expert to inform pursuit decisions; mentor others and develop best-practice sharing strategies; initiate conversations with prospects at events; act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.
    • Collaborate with internal experts to analyze products/solutions and implement strategies.
  • Delivers Results Through Teamwork
    • Drive project execution, coordinate with related teams, and leverage others in relevant work streams.
  • Best-in-class Business Value Selling
    • Lead the Envisioning phase in each sales opportunity, crafting board-level propositions with financial options aligned to goals; develop narratives around business outcomes and establish thought leadership.
  • Next Generation Sales Execution Excellence
    • Utilize digital-first sales tools to grow pipelines; orchestrate the sales process and customer journey using methodologies; engage the partner ecosystem to scale efforts and offer complementary services.
QualificationsEducation, Skills and Knowledge
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English is mandatory.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Technology-related sales or account management experience OR a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience selling cloud-based business applications to large enterprise accounts exceeding targets.
