Automation Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing a wide range of automation projects.
- Develop and implement automation systems for various industries
- Commission and test automation equipment
- Train personnel on the use and maintenance of automation systems
- Provide technical support and assistance as needed
The Automation Specialist will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing automation systems and networks
- Configuring and testing PLC, HMI and SCADA systems
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables
- Conducting site surveys and collecting field data to develop drawings and designs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Automation Engineering or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automation software and hardware
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
