As a Corporate Tax Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting tax reporting for half-year and year-end financial audits. Your responsibilities will include assisting with tax compliance, emphasizing Corporation Tax, RCT, and VAT.

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving tax technical issues, preparing analysis and involving specialists as needed. You will also interpret changes in tax policy and their impact on the business.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong relationships with relevant business units to communicate potential legislative changes. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc tax consultancy to support different business units on tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Reporting: Support tax reporting for half-year and year-end financial audits
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax compliance, emphasizing Corporation Tax, RCT, and VAT
  • Tax Technical Issues: Identify and resolve tax technical issues, preparing analysis and involving specialists as needed
  • Tax Policy Interpretation: Interpret changes in tax policy and their impact on the business
  • Communication: Communicate potential legislative changes to relevant business units
Requirements
  • Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA): We require a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with experience in corporate tax.
  • Professional Accounting Qualification: A professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA is essential.
  • Construction Industry Experience: While not essential, experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Solver Experience: Advantageous to have experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Solver.
  • Tax Technology and Automation Experience: Desirable to have experience with tax technology and automation.
