Purchasing and procurement professionals play a pivotal role in driving supply chain excellence. A seasoned procurement leader with experience in manufacturing or engineering is required to oversee the operational purchasing function.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of buyers in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, fostering growth and development within the organization.
  • Establish and maintain strategic global supplier relationships across Europe, China, and the USA, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) around on-time delivery, cost savings, inventory levels, and supplier performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Implement effective Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI) strategies and freight cost reduction initiatives, promoting efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the supply chain.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and warehousing teams, facilitating open communication and shared understanding.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in supplier management, cost control, and performance delivery, coupled with commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

A degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Key traits for success include being a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an excellent communicator and collaborator, results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset, and proven leadership and team development capabilities.
