Providing exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities is a highly rewarding role for those who are passionate about supporting individuals with diverse needs.

Our client provides day services, residential services, respite care, and home support in North Cork and Co Limerick. The main focus is on delivering high-quality care that enables children and adults with disabilities to live fulfilling lives to their fullest potential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification, or be eligible for CORU registration, or be CORU Registered.
  • Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
  • The ability to work independently and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • A full manual driving license.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure the service users' needs are being met.
  • Teach daily living and social skills through activities.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users.
  • Engage in household tasks and activities.
  • Keep accurate records of service user documentation.
