Job Summary:

The Chief Nursing Officer will be responsible for leading the nursing department in providing high-quality patient care services. This includes promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous professional development among nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with a minimum of 7 years of post-registration experience and 5 years of experience at a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 level. A BSc in Nursing Management is essential, and an MSc in Nursing/Management or willingness to undertake same within 2 years is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nursing administration office, managing nursing and ancillary staffing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care. They will also be responsible for promoting open communications throughout the hospital, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
  • Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure effective use of resources and efficient delivery of services
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve strategic and operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies and procedures
