Job Overview

Arising from the convergence of software innovation and collaborative problem-solving, we are seeking exceptional talent to join our Professional Services team. This global team is responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that empower internal colleagues and external partners to achieve their objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in computer science, coupled with hands-on experience in software development. They should be well-versed in languages such as Python, Golang, C++, or Rust, and have a solid understanding of version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative frameworks for network automation, harnessing cutting-edge techniques to drive customer success.

  • Design and implement customized software solutions to help customers deploy and operate advanced networking infrastructure.

  • Build software tools to enhance collaboration and productivity among internal and external stakeholders when deploying, migrating, and operating networks.

Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Expertise in testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, GoMock).

  • Understanding of IP networking and/or distributed systems.

  • Experience working with Unix or Linux environments.

  • Able to work effectively in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Keen intellect with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with CI platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins).

  • Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) and service orchestration (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

  • Familiarity with Nautobot or Netbox.

  • Familiarity with Itential Automation Platform.

  • Experience building third-party software integrations and APIs.

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role.
