Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solar Electrician to join our team at Activ8 Solar Energies. As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe Electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
  • Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
  • Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
  • Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

What We Look For

  • Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience.
  • Live within a commutable distance of Naas, Co Kildare.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
