Senior Pharmacist

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the dispensary operations in accordance with all legal requirements and guidelines of the pharmacy profession.

• The role involves managing daily dispensing activities, ensuring compliance with laws, ethics, and codes of practice as set by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified pharmacist is required, including holding a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and being registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to build and maintain relationships with local Doctors and other health professionals.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills to manage high volume dispensing efficiently.

1. Manage monthly submissions to payment boards and proactively follow up on rejected claims.
2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective medicines to customers.
3. Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach to Nursing Homes and other relevant institutions.

The successful candidate should possess:

• A degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• A valid PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification.
