About the Role:

We are seeking a Dispensing Healthcare Professional to join our team in Longford. As a key member of our dispensing team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers, following company guidelines and adhering to the legal responsibilities of the profession of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Operational management of the dispensary, ensuring all aspects of law, ethics, and codes of practice as laid down by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society are followed.
  • Providing a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
  • Interacting with other health professionals, building and maintaining relationships with local doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Active management of monthly submissions to payment boards and proactive management of claims rejected.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of an IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
