Job Opportunity: Private Clients Tax Assistant Manager/Manager

About the Role:
  • Advise and support clients on tax planning strategies including asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning and buy/sell side advisory.
  • Assist senior management in preparing detailed technical tax advice on various tax issues, including research of tax legislation and case law.
  • Interact with other offices as part of globally coordinated client programs.
  • Manage billings and fee collection for allocated clients.
  • Delegate to, manage and review trainee work on allocated clients.
  • Presents in-house tax training courses and assist with client presentations as required.
About You:
  • A Chartered Tax Professional with relevant PQE.
  • Strong tax technical knowledge - previous experience advising clients of asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning is an advantage.
  • Experience working as part of a private client team is advantageous.
  • An ability to explain complex concepts simply to those without a technical background.
  • ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills.
