At the forefront of medical device innovation, we are seeking an exceptional engineer to lead the development of our next-generation pVAD catheter.
This is a critical role that requires a self-directed individual with entrepreneurial drive and a proven track record in cardiovascular or equivalent device development. The successful candidate will have expertise in functional and mechanical test method development, polymer processing techniques, flow mechanics, and dynamics.
We require an individual who possesses an intimate understanding of interventional cardiology device requirements and has excellent communication skills in English and one other European language. A Master's or primary degree in a relevant engineering discipline is essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to develop design concepts and development options for the next generation catheter, establish assembly and manufacturing processes, and anticipate risks. They will also be responsible for implementing risk management tools, collaborating with management and marketing, and ensuring intellectual property protection.
The selected candidate will be expected to manage relationships with third-party development and manufacturing vendors, leveraging their established network of relevant suppliers. Additionally, they will need to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Familiarity with Design for Manufacture methodologies and rapid prototyping techniques is highly desirable.
- Competency in Solidworks or equivalent 3D CAD systems is also advantageous.
