Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced mobile-based forklift mechanic to join our team in the Dublin region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and be able to provide exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have experience working on forklift trucks, plant, and heavy-duty construction equipment or agricultural machinery. A related trade qualification and certification in Construction Plant Fitting or Agricultural Mechanics is highly desirable.

This role offers a competitive remuneration package, fixed weekly work hours, and overtime opportunities. We also provide a company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, PPE, uniform, and ongoing training. In addition, you will receive 20 days' annual leave, with an additional day added for every four years of service up to a maximum of three days.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending customer sites to evaluate and repair reported forklift faults
  • Carrying out routine preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring adherence to site health and safety requirements at all times
  • Maintaining effective communication with relevant service departments and managers
  • Meeting all paperwork requirements and deadlines
