We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Town Planner to join our Planning team. As a Senior Town Planner, you will contribute to the growth of our Planning business while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary professionals.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Town Planner to work across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects in renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development, and waste projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and submission of planning applications, as well as delivering strategic planning advice and guidance on consenting processes and strategies.
- Leading and/or coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborating effectively within teams working to support the execution and completion of projects.
You will have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of environmental reports and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) for renewable energy projects.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree and/or Master's in Town Planning.
- A minimum of seven years' experience in town planning.
- Extensive town planning experience and expert knowledge of planning and environmental legislation.
- Corporate / Chartered membership of the IPI / RTPI.
- Experience of preparing and submitting planning applications, drafting reports, feasibility studies, masterplans, and planning strategies for a wide range of projects.
- Experience of working with a range of client bodies including both private sector and public sector.
- Previous experience of having an active role in the delivery of varied environmental projects.
- Experience in overseeing, and/or project managing multidisciplinary projects.
