Home Care Assistant Job Opportunity

Support individuals in their own homes and make a positive impact in your local community.

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be visiting and supporting clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for someone who brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others in their daily lives.

Job Description:
  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Meal preparation and feeding support
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Light household tasks (tidying, laundry, etc.)
  • Supporting mobility and transfers
  • FOLLOWING AND RECORDING CARE PLANS ACCURATELY
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • QQI Level 5 Modules: Care Skills/Healthcare Support and Care of the Older Person or
  • 1+ year of care experience and a willingness to complete the two modules (which are provided FREE of charge)
