Job Title: Strategic Validation Testing Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled consultant to join our team in a strategic validation testing role. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in control assessment, including internal audit/control testing/issue validation experience.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Demonstrate control assessment expertise and accurately draft, design and execute a quality control/validation testing plan.
- Ensure high-quality workpaper standards and clear, concise documentation that supports testing reviews and explains decisions made.
- Identify and analyze risks, plan and prioritize validation tasks for on-time delivery, conduct interviews, observe operations, document and analyze processes and controls.
- Exercise responsibility over the execution of assigned regulatory validation projects and/or deliverables to ensure prompt and accurate work.
This role requires a strong understanding of business risks, controls and processes, as well as relevant laws, regulatory rules and knowledge of the impact of systems within areas reviewed.
You will establish and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, with all levels of staff and management.
A proven track record of success in financial services, within a financial institution or similar consultancy experience in the financial services industry is desirable.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of business risks, controls and processes.
- Relevant laws, regulatory rules and knowledge of the impact of systems within areas reviewed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of success in financial services.
