We deliver a rich variety of cultural experiences, including live music performances, cinema, comedy, and cultural events. Our beautiful performance space has been designated 'A hidden Gem' in the Irish culture scene due to its historical significance.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent leadership, management, and communication skills. Holding a full clean driving licence and having access to a car are also prerequisites.
Main responsibilities include:
- Executing all management duties for The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre
- Delivering the strategic plan for 2024-2028
- Guiding the daily operational aspects of the Centre
- Promoting the long-term stability of The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre
- Supplying timely updates to the Board on strategic progress and budget compliance
The appointed Director will be accountable for conceiving, planning, and executing distinctive artistic initiatives within allocated budgets. They will also be responsible for ensuring the property remains in good repair.
A fitting candidate should demonstrate extensive knowledge of the traditional arts and folk music landscape at a senior leadership level. Commercial acumen and sound business judgement are critical competencies.
