About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. This role requires a caring and considerate individual who will support us in delivering high-quality community-based care services to vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will work as part of our Home Support Service team, providing practical assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide practical assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and nutrition
* Assist with household duties, shopping, and managing supplies
* Communicate effectively with vulnerable adults and other stakeholders
* Maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to our policies and procedures
* Work as part of our Home Support Service team to deliver high-quality community-based care services
Requirements:
* Hold a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in quality care provision gained in a nursing home, hospital, day centre, or community setting
* Possess current Manual Handling & Patient Moving & Handling certification
* Have completed First Aid Training and demonstrate awareness and understanding of regulations and legislation within the Home Support profession
