Process Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work within a highly automated environment to optimize uptime and achieve key business metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive day-to-day operating requirements.
  • Monitor and manage production yield performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with Team Leaders on productivity and efficiency issues.
  • Provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting.
  • Detect and resolve malfunctioning systems to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with support teams for preventative maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Identify and implement technical improvements.
  • Support process equipment changes and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain compliance with site and corporate Quality Management System requirements.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Methodical approach with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or Trade qualification is required.
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or multiple years in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in low voltage controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and calibration is an advantage.
