About Us:

Bon Secours Hospital Limerick is a leading healthcare provider in the region, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled General Nurse Endoscopist to join our team in the endoscopy department.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting and be registered or eligible for registration with the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI].

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurse managers and anaesthetists, to ensure smooth operation of the department and a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe and high-quality care to patients throughout endoscopic procedures.
  • Promote a patient-focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health agencies.
  • Ensure full completion of patient documentation pre and post procedure.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses kept by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI].
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
