The successful candidate will work closely with the Radiology Services Manager (RSM) and Deputy to deliver high-quality radiographic services.
They will be responsible for performing a range of imaging procedures, from general to specialized and advanced, while maintaining the highest technical standards and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- To provide radiographic services under the supervision of the RSM and Clinical Specialist Radiographers.
- To lead the delivery of radiographic care in a professional and effective manner.
- To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered services.
- To adhere to departmental imaging protocols, ensuring accurate patient image identification.
- To rotate across all radiology areas and participate in the on-call service.
- To establish and maintain quality standards, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- To participate in the planning and development of services, supporting ongoing improvements.
- To conduct routine equipment inspections and quality assurance checks.
- To report incidents using the Q-Pulse system, escalating issues to the Clinical Specialist or RSM.
- To stay up-to-date with the latest radiographic techniques and participate in in-service training programs.
- To engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and support research and training for less experienced staff.
- To undertake other duties as directed by the RSM or Clinical Specialists.
