Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Professional to join our team in a key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on support for site activities related to PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, troubleshooting and resolving automation issues in collaboration with various teams, implementing code modifications as needed, and ensuring accurate updates on task and project progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level support for the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions, including PLC/SCADA/DCS system integration and testing.
  • Troubleshoot complex automation issues in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Implement code modifications, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve system efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and records to track system performance, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs for site control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in automation engineering, with a strong background in PLC/SCADA/DCS systems.
  • Excellent technical skills, including programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
