We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Project Lead to join our Cost Management team. As a lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost estimation and control strategies, providing technical leadership, and maintaining accurate records of project costs and expenses.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of service innovation, technical excellence, and exceptional service delivery. They will possess a comprehensive understanding of industry benchmarks, best practices, and methods of measurement. A strong network within the infrastructure sector and commercial and quantity surveying skills or finance skills, with full working knowledge of the construction industry, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost estimation and control strategies
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of project costs and expenses
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business growth strategies
  • Deliver cost management services across infrastructure projects

Requirements:

  • A Cost Management or Quantity Surveying Qualification or similar
  • Relevant experience in infrastructure
  • A strong knowledge of NEC and FIDIC forms of contract
  • Recognised expertise in Cost Management services across infrastructure (Rail, Highways, Water & other utilities, Aviation, or Energy)
  • An excellent understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices, Work Breakdown Structures, and methods of measurements
